We are looking for an experienced Project/Program Manager III to oversee and drive the successful execution of complex projects and programs. This a contract position based in Hanover, Maryland, requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in planning, coordination, and leadership. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all phases of project and program lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

• Define project scope, set deadlines, and allocate responsibilities to team members while maintaining clear communication.

• Monitor progress and performance, addressing challenges and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing project status and key milestones.

• Lead and direct project teams, fostering collaboration and maintaining focus on objectives.

• Develop and enforce procedures and practices to enhance efficiency and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Utilize creativity and strategic thinking to address complex challenges and drive innovative solutions.

• Conduct quality assurance checks to uphold standards and ensure deliverables meet required specifications.

• Stay updated on industry practices and concepts to apply best practices throughout project execution.

• Serve as a key liaison between departments, ensuring smooth communication and coordination across teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in project or program management.
• Strong expertise in planning, coordination, and progress monitoring techniques.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and presentations for executive stakeholders.
• Familiarity with industry practices, procedures, and concepts to apply best practices effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative approach to overcoming challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration and maintain transparency.
