The Project Manager will play an integral part in leading projects within Renal Denervation business. Scope of projects includes all product support activities as it pertains to the product life cycle for products, and may include supporting new product introductions, acquisitions/divestitures, technology development, business process improvements, Quality/Regulation driven project work, as well as driving strategic and transformational changes that are needed at BSC. The Project Manager will provide leadership to an interdisciplinary and international team of professionals.
The project manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to evaluate, design, build, and implement solutions to support the project goals. Additionally, this project manager will work collaboratively across functions, regions, and business units to develop the individual project strategies and tactical plans to deliver results, interact with a variety of stakeholders to secure input, support, and resources, and assist in the facilitation of change in business practices.
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our Maple Grove, MN office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- People Management: Leads cross-functional development teams; provides input to functional managers on team and team member performance.
- Product/Technology Management: Manages the technical challenges of technology application and new product development; identifies, communicates, and manages risk.
- Project/Program Management: Manages key initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing processes; develops and implements project plan; builds team ownership and commitment to project plan.
- Process Management: Implements TDP/PDP; leads team to complete activities to current policies and practices; keeps documentation organized, creates Scaling Plan and Design History File for the project.
- Communications: Regularly present project status to individual team members, project team leadership, and company leadership as required.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of related, technical work experience and 3+ years of people and/or project management experience.
- Previous experience with larger scale projects, either as project lead or team member.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work together with a cross functional team.
- Willingness to travel domestic and international as appropriate to support business needs.
Preferred qualifications:
- Excellent ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience with Capital equipment.
- Experience with new product introductions and PLCP process.
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Strong organization, execution, and communication skills.
