Zing Recruiting in partnership with a prominent Manufacturer in the Smithville, TN area is seeking an Accountant III to join their team. This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits and 401K!

Accountant III Summary

Location: Smithville, TN

Job Type: Full-time

Estimated Salary: $65K – $75K/year

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform account reconciliations and journal entries
• Support internal and external audits (including J-SOX and IATF)
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes
• Mentor junior accounting staff as needed
  
  

Accountant III Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills (SAP or similar preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive industry a plus
