KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a high growth organization near Portsmouth NH seeking to hire a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. Ideal candidates possesses a minimum 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience, assisting with monthly, quarterly and year end close. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization with proven track of career growth opportunities within and excellent employee benefits. This is a hybrid flexible position once acclimated to the position.

Responsibilities For The Staff Accountant

• Month-end close processing
• General Ledger: Create journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, etc.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
• Responsible for timely preparation of financial reports in accordance with GAAP
• Support the compilation of annual Operating and Capital budgets
• Monthly and quarterly revenue and expense variance analysis
  
  

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is required
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience within a general ledger focused position
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn
• ERP system experience
