Base pay range

$72,800.00/yr - $114,400.00/yr

Position: Accountant

Location: Elkhart, Indiana (100% onsite)

Overview Of The Accountant Role

• Maintain the general ledger and set up new accounts as needed
• Reconcile all financial accounts, including bank, cash disbursement, payroll, and customer accounts
• Close the monthly books accurately and on time
• Manage accounts receivable and collections efforts
• Verify and process accounts payable, ensuring accurate coding of payments
• Reconcile monthly bank statements, verify deposits, and respond to bank inquiries
• Oversee invoicing, project billing, and project close-out procedures
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GAAP and acceptable accounting practices
• Perform other related duties as assigned
  
  

Preferred Qualifications For The Accountant Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, including AR, AP, GL, and month-end close
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with project-based accounting is a plus
  
  

Salary: $72,800–$114,400 depending on experience
