Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with 2-3 years of experience in tax and accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in individual and corporate taxes, payroll, bookkeeping, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online. This is an in-office role requiring a proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Review bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining general ledgers.
• Conduct financial analysis to support client decision-making and identify opportunities for tax savings.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage client accounts and provide ongoing support for bookkeeping needs.
• Collaborate with team members to address client inquiries and resolve accounting or tax-related issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and industry standards to provide accurate advice and services.
• Assist with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and compliance with all reporting deadlines.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting and tax preparation.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of individual and corporate tax laws, payroll processing, and bookkeeping principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
