Diversified Opportunities Inc is a community rehabilitation program for adults with disabilities located in Wilson, NC. We provide vocational training and day programs to individuals in Wilson, Wayne, and Greene Counties. Our mission is to empower and support individuals in achieving their highest potential through various programs and services.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Wilson, NC. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, processing invoices and payments, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Daily tasks will include bookkeeping, budgeting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and conducting financial analysis to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bookkeeping, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis skills
• Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Experience working in a non-profit or community-oriented organization is a plus
