We are a reputable and growing company based in Indianapolis, IN, committed to financial accuracy and operational excellence. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in a full-time, in-office capacity.

Position Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, supporting the month-end close, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is suited for an organized professional with strong accounting fundamentals and a team-player attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and assist with variance analysis.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Assist with audit preparations and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 24 years of professional accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work 100% on-site at our Indianapolis office.
