Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Westfield, IN

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in Westfield. The ideal candidate will play a key role in month-end close processes, financial reporting, and fixed asset accounting. This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of GAAP, and proven experience managing fixed asset schedules and depreciation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset subledger, including additions, disposals, and transfers
• Calculate and record monthly depreciation entries in compliance with GAAP
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for management and external stakeholders
• Support annual audit by providing documentation and answering auditor inquiries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate project costing and capitalization
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience, including hands-on fixed asset accounting
