Job Title:Accountant/Senior Analyst
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Location:Des Moines, IA

Job Description:

• As a Senior Analyst/ Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and maintaining financial records for the company.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards.
  
  

JobResponsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Process financial transactions.
• An Accountant ensures the accuracy and completeness of financial data and identifies and resolves any discrepancies or errors.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports.
• Maintain accounting policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and principles.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for auditors and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, and provide input on financial strategy and planning.
• Provide financial analysis and support for various projects and initiatives.
  
  

JobQualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (Statutory Reporting).
