Senior Accountant
Location: Farmer Branch, TX (On-Site)
Reports to: Finance Director

We are a rapidly growing cabinetry wholesaler that provide great products for contractors, stores, builders and remodelers. As we scale, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to help drive financial accuracy, efficiency, and support our international growth.
Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the full-cycle accounting process, month-end close, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and handling multi-entity consolidations. This position requires expertise in account reconciliations, AR, AP, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced, globally expanding business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full-cycle close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
- Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
- Prepare and manage consolidated and consolidating financial statements for multiple entities.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support global expansion efforts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Work closely with the CFO/COO to support financial strategy and global expansion initiatives.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and banking partners.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and internal controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience managing full-cycle close, reconciliations, AR, and AP.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer goods industries is a plus.
- Exposure to international accounting and foreign currency transactions is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
