Senior Accountant

Location: Farmer Branch, TX (On-Site)

Reports to: Finance Director


About Us:

We are a rapidly growing cabinetry wholesaler that provide great products for contractors, stores, builders and remodelers. As we scale, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to help drive financial accuracy, efficiency, and support our international growth.


Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the full-cycle accounting process, month-end close, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and handling multi-entity consolidations. This position requires expertise in account reconciliations, AR, AP, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced, globally expanding business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full-cycle close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Prepare and manage consolidated and consolidating financial statements for multiple entities.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support global expansion efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
  • Work closely with the CFO/COO to support financial strategy and global expansion initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and banking partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and internal controls.


Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
    • Experience managing full-cycle close, reconciliations, AR, and AP.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Experience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer goods industries is a plus.
    • Exposure to international accounting and foreign currency transactions is a plus.
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
