Overview

The Expense Accountant, reporting to the Expense Manager, is responsible for a variety of accounting and treasury functions including complex accruals, intercompany transactions, cash flow projections, and reconciliation of prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and operating leases. The role also involves preparing journal entries, conducting P&L analysis of non-compensation expenses, supporting audits, and generating recurring and ad hoc reports for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex accruals and intercompany transactions
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and operating leases
• Perform cash flow projections
• Conduct P&L analysis of non-compensation expenses
• Support internal and external audits
• Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for senior management

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
