Staff Accountant
The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial reports. The Staff Accountant will support the senior accounting team with day-to-day accounting tasks and contribute to the overall accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the fixed asset register, including recording new fixed asset acquisitions and retirements.
- Perform monthly depreciation calculations and prepare journal entries to record depreciation expense.
- Reconcile fixed asset accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Review capital expenditure requests for accuracy and compliance with accounting policies.
- Monitor daily cash balances, reconcile bank accounts, and ensure accuracy of cash management transactions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts.
- Review and reconcile bank statements to GL accounts and identify any discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items.
- Manage intercompany transactions and accounts between multiple entities.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures and make recommendations for process improvements.
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
