Frore Systems is hiring: Accountant in San Jose

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting operations including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger.


• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes including reconciliations and consolidations and ensure compliance with US GAAP


• Be the day-to-day contact with auditors, external accounting firm and tax CPA, oversee tax reporting and compliance for the US, Taiwan, and Korea offices


• Perform cashier responsibilities including the full procurement process end-to-end from Purchase Order generation to fulfilling vendor invoices


• Fulfill employee and contractor related processes, incl. initiation of on-cycle and off-cycle payroll processes, administration of contractor fees and employee reimbursements.


• Partner with Sales team to ensure revenue recognition accounting standards are met


• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings


• Perform FP&A support by providing budget vs actuals analysis


• Maintain shipping and logistics processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.


• CPA certification


• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, strong understanding of US GAAP


• Proficiency in accounting software NetSuite preferred


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

Compensation includes: Salary, Bonus and Stock Options

Annual Salary Range: 100K-150K
