Job Description
- Prepare and maintain financial statements with minimal supervision after initial training
- Handle accounting functions for assigned entities and properties
- Assist with annual financial reporting and year-end close processes
- Perform a range of administrative tasks to support the accounting team
- Maintain and update residency calendars
- Generate and compile tax reports for internal and external use
- Prepare individual tax work papers and supporting documentation
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting for designated statements
- Support data entry tasks to ensure accurate financial records
- Utilize Excel for various accounting and reporting functions
- Record and manage journal entries in the accounting system
The Successful Applicant
- 3-5 years of accounting experience with a solid understanding of financial statements and debits/credits
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills
- Experience in job cost accounting and related practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information across departments
- Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity within a small, team-oriented environment
