Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

About The Company

Our client is a leading facilities services organization that has been around for 60+ years, and they are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Accounting team! Very relaxed and team-oriented work environment! There is often lunches on site, barbeques, and overall a strong sense of community here! The office is located in Fairfield, NJ and are going in daily.

Position Responsibilities Of The Staff Accountant

• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• File and remit state and local sales tax returns.
• Manage fixed assets and lease accounting (ASC842).
• Collaborate with auditors and support process improvements.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues.
• Maintain knowledge of accounting practices.
  
  

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience; CPA progress preferred.
• Big 4 and Sage Intacct experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
