Job Title: Senior Accountant (Full-Time, Flexible Hours)

Salary Range: $90,000–$115,000 annually

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team. This full-time role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work with a collaborative, communicative, and professional group. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take ownership of complex accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, your core responsibilities will include:

• Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Research & Cleanup (50%)
• Lead monthly reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Resolve legacy issues and ensure accuracy across accounts
• Collaborate cross-functionally to post corrections and maintain integrity
• Debt Refinance & Audit Support (30%)
• Prepare audit documentation and schedules
• Support the completion of the audit
• Coordinate with the finance team on lender requests
• Transactional Processing (20–30%)
• Review contractor work and provide guidance
• Cross-train on cash reconciliation for coverage
• Manage expense reporting, AP, and credit card transactions
  

The Senior Accountant will also support the close cycle and prioritize Redi support over month-end close when necessary.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Senior Accountant, you should bring:

Required

• 3–4 years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent with strong accounting foundation
• Experience in both public and private accounting, or senior-level private experience
• Proficiency in NetSuite, Google Suite, and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUM/IF)
• Familiarity with inventory accounting, including cycle count reconciliation
  
  

Preferred

• Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
• Prior use of RAMP
