Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant, located in Charlottesville, VA. The Senior Accountant will oversee daily accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. Additional responsibilities include monitoring budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial analysis and reporting. The Senior Accountant will also collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and assist in audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, and maintaining financial records
• Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus
• Previous experience in the fitness or wellness industry is a plus
