The Income Tax Center is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our growing team and prepare individual and business tax returns with excellence, accuracy, and care. This role is ideal for a seasoned tax professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about helping clients navigate the complex world of taxation with clarity and confidence.

As a CPA at ITC, you’ll handle a wide range of returns — from straightforward 1040s to complex S-Corp, C-Corp, and partnership filings — while ensuring compliance with current tax laws and maximizing client outcomes. You'll work alongside a team that values integrity, service, and strategic thinking, and you’ll contribute to a culture where clients are served with joy and precision.

Compensation : 80,000 - $120,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

• Submit tax returns on behalf of the client and communicate with tax authorities
• Honor client privacy by keeping confidential documents safe and organized
• Utilize the appropriate credits and deductions the client is eligible for
• Examine every client’s financial records, such as their income statements and previous tax returns, to calculate their total amount of taxable income
• Ensure taxes are filed on time by explaining the tax process to customers and informing them of all deadlines

Qualifications :

• Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel
• Experience handling both basic and advanced levels of tax service, and has in-depth knowledge of the tax code, state tax laws, and federal tax laws
• Has a valid PTIN from the Internal Revenue Service
• Experience using standard tax software to file returns
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
