Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Role Overview

I’m partnering with a well-established, growing client in the insurance space that’s looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This role offers a healthy work-life balance, strong leadership, and a hybrid schedule that combines structure with flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze core financial reports—balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and statutory accounting standards
• Assist with regulatory filings in the insurance space
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Assist in preparing state and federal tax returns

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within the insurance industry
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset
