A regional manufacturing company in the Milwaukee area is looking for a new Cost Accountant to join the team. This position will have high-level exposure and can see quick career progression as the company continues to grow.

Job Duties:

  • Partner with CFO on month/year end close procedures
  • Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs.
  • Analyzes actual production costs and prepares periodic reports on variances
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting for division
  • Maintain fixed asset registers
  • Analyze and reconcile the general ledger accounts related to inventory
  • Provide support for other accounting functions when needed

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant (cost accounting) experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to interact and communicate with upper-level management on a daily basis
