Location: Birmingham, AL, 35242

Gateway Management a growing property manager company is seeking an Accountant to handle apartment community financials.

Job Description:

Gateway is currently seeking a Property Accountant for our Birmingham office. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, preparation of monthly multi-family property financial statements, reconciliations, budgets, forecasts, cash management, communication with on-site managers, outside vendors and Housing Authorities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly property financial statements
• Perform reconciliations
• Create budgets and forecasts
• Manage cash flow
• Communicate with on-site managers, outside vendors, and Housing Authorities
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting)
• Previous property accounting experience preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to manage time well and meet deadlines
• Real Page OneSite Property Management Software experience a plus
