Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a luxury retailer in Cranston on their search for a Senior Accountant. Our client was established over 70 years ago and specializes in elegance, luxury, and beauty products.

Senior Accountant Highlights

• This position will be a critical part of the daily financial activities of the organization
• High visibility with daily interaction of department heads and external auditors
• Report directly to the Senior Director of Finance

• Manage all balance sheet accounts from reconciliation through resolution
• Conduct financial and cost analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Prepare supporting schedules for external auditors for periodic and year-end audits
• Prepare annual workpapers and work with external auditors
• Manage cash audit and application processes
• Responsible for chargeback process and reporting
• Oversee customer liability processes
• Manage direct report’s performance and professional development
• Provide guidance and support to finance team regarding financial information and accounting policies
• Recommend initiatives for process optimization and automation to support company growth
• Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
