Staff Accountant Job in Sheboygan County
A well-established and growing manufacturing company is looking for a new Staff Accountant to join the team. This position will have direct exposure to the C-Suite and will make a difference from Day 1!
Job Duties:
- Review financial statements for accuracy
- Handle standard inventory cost variances and cost of goods sold
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and cash
- Maintain the fixed asset system
- Assist the Controller with month-end and year-end closes
- Perform inventory reconciliation, reserves, cost rolls, and impairment analysis
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 2 years of accounting experience
- Manufacturing experience is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem-solving and process improvement mindset
- Desire to learn and take on new responsibilities
