Base pay range

$45.00/hr - $55.00/hr

We’re partnering with a cutting-edge media & entertainment company.

They’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join their high-performing team on a 7-month contract (maternity cover). You’ll be stepping into a fast-paced, collaborative environment and will play a key role in AP leadership, month-end close, and year-end audit prep. This is a high-impact, hands-on role reporting into a world-class Controller.

Location: Downtown Brooklyn (3+ days/week in office)

️ Duration: Mid-August to February (with potential to extend)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the AP function and ensure expense accuracy across the GL
• Own journal entries, reconciliations, and close schedules
• Support year-end audit
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Drive improvements in accounting processes and ERP efficiency (NetSuite)

What You Bring

• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience
• Strong command of month-end close mechanics
• Hands-on NetSuite experience (non-negotiable)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
• Media, entertainment, or startup experience = nice to have
