We’re currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Headquarters team!

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting key reporting processes, and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, a commitment to learning, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. While prior experience is valuable, success in this role comes from initiative, adaptability, and effective communication, allowing the individual to grow and enhance financial operations.

What You Will Do:

• Perform and support month-end activities, including closing sub-ledgers, preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and conducting balance sheet account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare month-end flux analysis for all profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheet accounts, identifying key fluctuations and providing insights to stakeholders on the reasons behind these changes.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, proactively identifying discrepancies and taking necessary corrective actions.
• Support the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and final reconciliations.
• Assist with audit processes, providing documentation and working closely with auditors to resolve queries for smooth audit completion.
• Ensure financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are properly documented, implemented, and continuously improved for efficiency.
• Participate in new business and system launches, including user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate accounting entries and financial reporting accuracy.
• Approach new challenges with a hands-on attitude, demonstrating a willingness to learn and take on evolving responsibilities as the organization grows.
  
  

How You Will Shine:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in accounting OR recent graduate with advanced coursework and internship experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Active CPA preferred but not required.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, ensuring accuracy in financial processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and internal controls (preferred but not required).
• Eagerness to learn and grow, demonstrating adaptability and initiative in problem-solving.
