Summary
Senior Accountant is responsible for all company's accounting transaction systems, treasury functions, financial reporting, including financial statement preparation & analysis, external audit compliance, cash management, and support for company’s cost center budget control & reporting. Key support to Accounting Manager and Treasurer on financial forecasting, including company overall P&L forecast, Balance Sheet forecast, and Cash Flow forecast.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Foster an environment of team work, compliance and continual improvement.
- Adhere to the Company's objectives, i.e. Safety, Quality, Environmental and Information Security
- Ensure compliance with departments standard operating procedures
- Work closely with accounting team and each department in various areas including the following;
- Review SAP transactions and create financial statement and its supporting documentations.
- Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status.
- As a leader of Procure, responsible to support communications between Outsourcing company’s AP team and MCOI departments. Support invoice approvers or purchase requesters for error solution if they need to know something about a vendor’s invoice.
- AP Payment confirmation: review and verify invoices and check a weekly forecasting payment report.
- Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
- Create monthly cost center's reports.
- Analysis cost centers data report to Accounting manager and Treasurer.
- Manage relationships of Accounting and Sales to facilitate efficiency with monthly and quarterly closings.
- Support New Unit Business and After Sales Service for Profit and Loss forecasting and analyzing its data:
- Invoicing / Sales Recognition - Cash Collection / AR Aging Follow
- Sales Profit - Project Cost Follow
- Assist with and/or prepare percentage of completion (POC) calculation. Responsible for improvement of POC calculation worksheet, and timely recording/reconciling POC transactions.
- Perform SAP month end closing processes, and analysis closing data.
- Liaison with internal and external auditors.
- Project Coordinator: Lead specific project and communicate project status adequately with related departments.
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Working experience with SAP is a must.
- 5+ years of accounting with A/P, A/R, GL, GAAP and accrual experience
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, including percentage of completion revenue recognition method and completed contract revenue recognition method for various contracts.
- Experience with different revenue recognition techniques – completed contract, percentage of completion, etc…
- CPA preferred.
- Experience with US GAAP to IFRS conversion is a big plus.
- Fixed asset accounting experience preferred.
- Must be detailed oriented: Proven organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional demeanor while working closely with management and accounting staff on multiple tasks and projects. Positive attitude, excellent communication and computer skills; SAP experience a plus, proficiency with Excel, MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Working knowledge of commonly used concepts and practices of corporate accounting including deferred tax accounting.
- Ability to excel within time constraints and rapid turnaround situations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented work environment.
