I’m a Senior Recruiter at Fanning- Masis. I assist my client companies, investment/ asset/ wealth management firms located in and around Boston, with their candidate recruitment process.

I’m writing to inform you that one of my client companies, a wealth management firm with multiple entities that services an UHNW private wealth and institutional client base, is seeking a Senior Accountant. The allure of this role is the diversity of duties associated with this position in that the selected individual will be given the opportunity to perform tasks in the corporate accounting, fund accounting, and family office accounting disciplines in support of all Firm entities.

These duties include full participation in the monthly close process— account reconciliations (including inter-company accounts) through financial statement prep, research and analysis of income statement accounts, maintaining depreciation schedules, cash management, financial reporting for investment partnerships, budgeting/forecasting/variance analysis, transactional accounting, and working with the Controller on ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities

• Transactional accounting

Qualifications / Experience

• 1-3 years of public accounting experience, followed by experience as an Accountant at a wealth/asset management firm or real estate investment/development firm


• 1-5 year tenure at a public accounting firm which includes GL work


• 1-5 year Accountant tenure at an investment/wealth management firm or family office or real estate firm who does not have any prior public accounting experience

Compensation

Compensation includes a salary in the $90,000.00 - $125,000.00/yr range, depending on experience, plus a bonus around an additional $10,000

Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr
