Role Description

This is a full-time Senior Accountant opportunity located in the city of Chicago. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, audit preparation, tax compliance, and budget management. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will assist with the development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures.

Hybrid schedule after be trained onsite for only a few weeks.

Qualifications

• Strong financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and tax compliance skills
• Experience with audit preparation and budget management
• Ability to develop and implement internal control policies and procedures
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
