Overview

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant in Natick, MA.

Responsibilities

• Staff Accountant will prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
• Process employee expense reports and vendor invoices in accordance with company policies
• Support budgeting and financial reporting activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Manage daily Accounts Receivable tasks including invoicing, cash application, and collections
• As a Staff Accountant, you will handle Accounts Payable functions such as invoice logging, approval workflows, and payment coordination
• Conduct regular reviews of balance sheet accounts and assist with financial audits
• Utilize accounting software and Excel to analyze and report financial data
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with internal controls

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems (intermediate to advanced level)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
