Base pay range

$28.00/hr - $36.00/hr

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Intercompany Accountant in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities:

• Intercompany Accountant will maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts across multiple legal entities
• Process intercompany invoices, payments, and journal entries
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close activities for intercompany balances
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., tax, treasury, legal) to ensure accurate intercompany documentation and compliance
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between intercompany balances
• Prepare and analyze intercompany reports and reconciliations
• Assist in developing and improving intercompany accounting processes and controls
• As an Intercompany Accountant, you will support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies
• Participate in system implementations and automation projects related to intercompany transactions
• Other assignments as required
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably with intercompany or corporate accounting focus
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, etc.)
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
