Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Job Summary

Stateside Brands is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the manufacturing industry and will be responsible for supporting the cost accounts function, helping track the cost of production, analyzing variances and assisting in inventory valuation and reporting. This position is 4 days per week on-site at our headquarters in Feasterville, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the collection and analysis of manufacturing cost data including raw materials, labor and overhead.
• Prepare cost reporting and variance analysis (standard vs actual costs).
• Monitor Bill of Materials (BOMs) for accuracy in the ERP system.
• Process invoices and review for accuracy.
• Support monthly inventory reconciliations and physical inventory counts.
• Prepare daily cycle counts and record adjustments needed.
• Perform month-end close procedures including journal entries, account reconciliations.
• Assist with internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, such as operations and procurement, to streamline processes, resolve issues, and optimize financial performance.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or beverage environment.
• Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Military experience is a plus.
  
  

Compensation

• Estimated Base Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000 USD.
• Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and qualifications.
• The salary range refers to base salary only and is not inclusive of the total compensation package.
