Senior Accountant – with Grants Experience

Hybrid - 1 day a week in office in local DC metro area

Salary to $87,500

Our client is a mission-driven, energetic organization whose goal is to provide strategy to enhance their stakeholder’s philanthropic pursuits. A great candidate will have 2+ years of accounting experience primarily in the nonprofit sector. You’ve worked with financial statements and exposure to international accounting is a plus. Your experience includes accounting for a non-profit C3 organization with C4 experience a+, or auditing financial statements and/or preparing them, preferably in a non-profit organization.

If you have a little less or more experience than at the Senior Accountant level, we've got you covered. Due to growth, the organization also has Staff Accountant and Manager opportunities available!

Opportunity to grow, and each provides a foundation in budgeting and learning about new areas in a friendly, inclusive environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Accounting degree - Master and/or CPA preferred
• 2+ years of grants accounting experience
• Extremely comfortable with Excel and enjoy learning new systems
• Enjoy working both with a team and independently
