$68,000.00/yr - $72,000.00/yr

Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: NE Portland - Hybrid

Salary: $68,000–$72,000

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit invoices and payment requests to various funding agencies in compliance with federal and state guidelines
• Act as liaison between program teams and funding agencies to resolve accounts receivable issues
• Reconcile and prepare periodic progress reports and budget modifications for grant-funded projects
• Support grant budget preparation and variance analysis
• Perform general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and payroll reclassifications related to grants
• Collaborate with program directors to ensure accurate financial reporting and grant compliance
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting, including grant billing and compliance
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred
