Base pay range

$115,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations and reporting for BAM’s private investment vehicles and internal venture capital funds. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, investor allocations, and process improvements.

In the role of Fund Accountant, the employee will be responsible for the following:

- Prepare monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) reports and daily management reports for BAM’s private funds.

- Calculate and allocate monthly investor returns, including management and incentive fees.

- Liaise with external fund administrators on accounting and reporting matters.

- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Assist in the management and administration of multiple investment vehicles across multiple funds, including reconciliation and fund expenses.

- Support the investor relations team and other departments by gathering data, fulfilling ad-hoc requests, and responding to investor inquiries.

- Partner with technology teams to develop and implement new reporting tools, enhancing transparency and efficiency in reporting processes.

QUALIFICATIONS /REQUIREMENTS

- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

- Demonstrated leadership skills and initiative.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with strong interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.

- 3-6 years of experience in public or private accounting.

- CPA license preferred.

- Experience in fund administration and accounting for private funds is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with Geneva, Sigma, Snowflake, and SQL is a plus.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
