Head of US Technology Recruitment at Xcede

A top NYC asset manager is looking for a strong staff accountant to join them on a full-time basis in their office. This person will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, monthly reporting, and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

•Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets for the principals review.

•Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and ensure to audit on an established basis.

•Oversee and help facilitate internal audits and prepare documentation to ensure there are quality controls in place.

•Build systems around controls to assist the Principals in ensuring data integrity.

•Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures with a keen eye on controls.

•Provide the Principal with monthly reporting and updates as needed.

•Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, partners and vendors

•Coordinate cross functional teams to drive forward accounting specific projects and collaborate as-needed.

•Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policy.

•Assist with daily office management operations, company credit card process, and invoice management.

•Excellent problem-solving, decision making, and a high-level of judgement

•Proficient in financial analysis and various financial software (ie: Workday)

130-160k base + bonus
