We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will take a lead role in preparing accurate and timely monthly financial reports, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and supporting the integrity of our overall financial reporting process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved timely.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports and disclosures.
• Provide GAAP-compliant accounting guidance for complex transactions and new business initiatives.
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GAAP, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• 3 or more years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to financial reporting and GAAP.
• Experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
