Sage Residential Management LLC is a real estate focused credit investment manager seeking a hard-working and self-motivated professional for a Fund Accountant position. The Fund Accountant will work directly with the Assistant Vice President - Finance & Operations and interact extensively with the entire company. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably from fund administrators, other funds or public accounting firms.

Location is in Morristown, New Jersey - Full time, in office 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Forecast master and feeder funds’ cashflows, draft investor capital calls and distributions, initiate and record incoming and outgoing cashflows and maintain bank reconciliations on a weekly basis

• Verify and record investment remittances, deal provisions, fund management fees and other expenses

• Prepare NAV workbooks for master and feeder funds’ monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting

• Help the finance team with the implementation of a shadow accounting system

• Work on year-end audit process in collaboration with auditors and fund administrators

• Assist the data analytics team in database maintenance

• Assist the legal team in compliance requests

• Assist the marketing team in investor requests and marketing materials

• College degree with an accounting or finance related major

• 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably from fund administrators, other funds or public accounting firms

• Proficiency with Excel

• Strong communication, multi-tasking, teamwork and problem-solving skills with efficiency and reliability

• Knowledge of a programing language preferred
