About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their team in Lewiston, NY. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong foundation in accounting principles who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to advance their professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger and tracking accounts, including accruals and amortization schedules
• Support month-end close and assist in preparing daily, monthly, and quarterly reports and financial statements
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Track daily revenue and assist with monthly revenue and expense recognition
• Assist with lease accounting and support accounting compliance activities
• Support audit preparation and documentation for external and internal reporting
• Assist with financial consolidations across multiple global entities
• Participate in ad hoc projects and cross-functional team support as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Intacct, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with US GAAP and ASC 606/842 is a plus
