Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Position: Senior Accountant

Location: hybrid NYC

Duration: Perm

Working Hours: 9-5

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 1-3+ years accounting experience in public accounting or in a relevant industry setting is required.
  • Proven experience with all aspects of financial reporting (e.g., reporting, financial-statement analysis, budgets, revenue/AR)
  • Good understanding of FASB/GAAP and associated technical issue
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, & Word

Plusses:

  • Experience in Workday applications
  • Pursuing CPA

D2D:

The Senior Accountant will oversee key financial operations related to joint ventures such as ambulatory surgery centers and other non-hospital initiatives. Responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger structure, supporting budget development, preparing journal entries, and managing monthly and year-end financial reporting. The role also involves coordinating billing and wire transfers, assisting with loan advance requests for construction projects, and supporting tax filings and K-1 distribution statements. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial management and compliance across HSS’s expanding portfolio of ventures.
