LaSalle Network is hiring: Staff Accountant in Dallas

We are currently working on a Staff Accountant position in Dallas, Texas. This role involves maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting month-end close activities. The position requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger


2. Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements


3. Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies


4. Support the month-end and year-end close process


5. Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts


6. Assist with audits and regulatory filings as needed


7. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions


8. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities


9. Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies


10. Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues


11. Perform special projects and ad-hoc analyses as requested by management

Staff Accountant Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


2. 1+ years of experience in accounting or a related field (internship experience may be considered)


3. Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)


4. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel


5. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills


6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines


7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities


8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills


9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
