Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant, CA (Onsite)

Pay: 95k - 100k (Annual)

Are you looking to join an exciting organization with a great culture and excellent benefits? Do you have at least three years of accounting experience as a staff accountant? We are looking for a staff accountant for a wonderful new job opportunity based out of San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, good GL accounting experience, and a strong attention to detail. If you are looking for more information please apply now!

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post accurate journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on GL and journal entries.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
