Staff Accountant - $70K - Hybrid in Dallas
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a large, publicly traded company to hire a Staff Accountant. This role will support payroll and benefits accounting for specific divisions and will report directly to the Accounting Manager. It’s a dynamic, collaborative environment where the Staff Accountant will gain exposure to intercompany accounting, payroll processes, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support accounting for divisional payroll and benefits, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end close activities and preparation of financial reports.
- Partner with HR and Finance teams to ensure accuracy in payroll and benefits accounting.
- Contribute to process improvements and team initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Support compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
- Payroll/benefits accounting knowledge strongly preferred.
- Large ERP system experience
