Industry leading company with over 40 years of continued success is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the firm’s general ledger by ensuring journal entries are recorded accurately and on time
• Perform bank reconciliations and analyze variances in the GL
• Prepare financial statements and periodic reports for management
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Process accounts payable invoices, expenses, and credit card charges
• Oversee cash receipts, including wires, ACH, and credit card transactions
• Assist with additional accounting functions such as processing and reconciling deposits, receipts and disbursements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years relevant experience in general ledger operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Prior experience in a professional services firm preferred
