We are seeking a Junior Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Management
- Manage Fixed Assets and Prepaid Assets
- Assist with Management and Execution of Treasury Functions
- Communicate with counterparties regarding invoices, contracts, tax bills, auditor questions, etc.
- Provide financial information to management and prepare reports
- Analyze accounting options and recommend financial actions
- Audit documents to substantiate financial transactions
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by analyzing account information
- Secure financial information through database backups
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
- Research and interpret accounting policies and regulations to answer procedure questions
- Ensure compliance with legal financial requirements and advise management
- Prepare financial reports by analyzing account information and trends
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting
- Experience with financial reporting requirements
- Experience working with multiple legal entities
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in manipulating large Excel datasets and presenting data clearly
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Research skills for reporting results
- Confidentiality and integrity
- Time management skills
- Basic math skills
