Job Description

Please note: this is a seasonal position. All candidates must pass drug screening and criminal background check. Uniform will be provided. Bilingual required (Spanish). 2 years of experience minimum. Experience in warehouse/gate operation a plus.

Schedule:

2nd Shift: 3:00pm-12:30am

We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

Duties include:

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure the premises

Responsibilities:

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances. Act lawfully in defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and activities
• Report suspicious incidents in detail
• Patrol building and perimeter regularly
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• Check trucks in and out
• Assist the on-site manager as needed

Requirements:

• Drug Screen & Criminal background clearance
• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
• Knowledge of public safety and security procedures
• Surveillance skills, attention to detail, integrity, professionalism
• High school degree
• Bilingual (Spanish)
