Scope of the Position

To maintain activities that safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates
• Gathering information
• Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships
• Making decisions and solving problems
• Resolving conflicts and negotiating with others
• Following organizational security activities
• Implementing organizational policies or process changes
• Preparing reports related to security matters
• Possessing and maintaining a valid state-issued driver’s license
• Working extended periods in the elements
• Standing for prolonged periods
• Lifting up to 60 pounds as needed
• Ensuring public safety and security
• Providing customer and personal service
• Adhering to governmental laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Security, law enforcement, or military background of at least 2 years and a high school diploma or GED
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Highly motivated, service-oriented, team player with attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Face-to-face discussion skills
• Availability for overtime as required
