Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for an Armed Security Guard located in Fort Myers, FL. The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises, patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and access points, and permitting or denying entry. Daily tasks include responding to alarms, reporting irregularities, and completing daily activity reports. The Armed Security Guard will also interact with visitors and employees, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of the premises
• Patrol designated areas and monitor surveillance equipment
• Inspect buildings and access points; permit or deny entry as required
• Respond to alarms and report irregularities
• Complete daily activity reports
• Interact with visitors and employees, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Experience in security protocols and safety procedures
• Proficient in monitoring surveillance systems and conducting patrols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness and the ability to handle physical demands
• Valid armed security guard license and firearm certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Experience in law enforcement or military is a plus
