Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Armed Security Guard, located on-site in Homestead, FL. The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients by patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and access points, and permitting entry. Additional responsibilities include reporting any suspicious activities, responding to alarms, and working closely with law enforcement agencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in surveillance and monitoring techniques, and conducting routine security checks
• Strong skills in crime prevention, conflict resolution, and crowd control
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledgeable in the use of firearms and other security equipment, with appropriate certifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations and respond to emergencies promptly
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or law enforcement is a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
